We built business software that works the way you do.
Munshee is made by a small team who do their best work in Claude, and wanted their business to run there too.
Why Munshee exists.
More and more real work happens in Claude. Plans get made, decisions land, clients get looked after. Then the chat scrolls away, and next week you explain it all again.
The usual fix is another app, or a pile of notes. A CRM, a project tool, a spreadsheet: each built for clicking, each its own subscription, each with its own AI added on the side. Or a folder of documents, a wiki, a set of markdown files for Claude to read: just text, with no fields, no links between records, and no history of who changed what.
Every app added a chat box. We put the records in the chat.
Munshee is the AI-native system of record. You describe what you want to keep, and it becomes a system. Claude saves to it as you work, and finds it again in any chat. There’s a web app for when you want to look around, but most days you won’t need it.
What we believe.
If you can say it, that’s enough.
Forms exist because databases needed them, not people. A sentence should do.
Your work has its own shape.
Describe the systems you need. Change them just by asking.
You stay in charge.
Claude does only what you allow, and history and a Trash bring things back.
- munshee
- /ˈmʊnʃiː/ · noun
- Historically, a munshi was a secretary, scribe or record keeper: the person who wrote things down accurately so the business could be trusted.
An old job, done a new way.
Someone still has to write it down, keep it straight, and tell you exactly what happened and when. Now you just ask.
The mascot is the same idea, drawn small: a patient clerk with a good memory.
Your Claude work, organized.
